Professor Hans-Joachim Hof was elected Vice-President of the Technical University of Ingolstadt yesterday by the University Council. His responsibilities include support for the strategic development of the university, especially building new fields of study related to digitization. He will also be responsible for key overarching topics such as entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship. Hof is a professor of IT security and has been at the THI since 2016, as well as a member of the executive committee of the Society for Informatics and chairman of the German Chapter of the ACM. At the THI, he heads the research group INSicherheit – Ingolstadt-based research group Applied IT Security and is a member of the Automotive Research Center CARISSMA.
As a future vice-president, Professor Hof will be a member of the university management of the Technical University of Ingolstadt from October 2019. The university management of the THI consists of the President, the three Vice-Presidents and the Registrar.
