The security 2018 is the regularly held symposium of the Department "Security – Protection and reliability" of the Society for Informatics e.v. It offers an audience of research, development and application a forum for the discussion of challenges, trends, techniques and the latest scientific and industrial results. The conference covers all aspects of the security of information technology systems and attempts to establish a bridge between the topics of IT security, safety and Dependability.
Professor Dr. Hans-Joachim Hof, head of the research groups insecurity-Ingolstadt research group applied it-security and muse-Munich IT Security research group, was recently appointed to the Program Committee of Security 2018.
