Professor Hof wins special prize in the ideas competition THIdea

In the summer semester 2019, the TH-Idea ideas competition took place for the first time at the Technical University of Ingolstadt. Professor Hans-Joachim Hof and several student teams from INSicherheit took part in the competition. The ideas, which have moved into the second round via crowd voting, were evaluated by the jury members regarding several criteria after the KPMG workshop in brigk at the end of May. These ranged from the description of the idea to the recognizability of potential customers and customer benefit to feasibility. The jury, consisting of representatives of the organizers and partners, did not take it easy, as the ideas in the workshop all did a very good job and on the one hand critically questioned and further developed their ideas.

The special prize of the project "Human on the Move" went to Prof. Dr. Hans-Joachim Hof for his idea of the "Walhalla 2.0", a decentralized "digitalization museum" that introduces digitalization pioneers to the population and inspires them for digitization, on the other hand a new tourist highlight Ingolstadt. "Founders need role models and there is no shortage of digital pioneers in Bavaria – I want to make this visible with the Walhalla 2.0. Laptop and leather trousers was a motto that I was very committed to at the time," says Hof visibly delighted with the special price. Professor Hof plans to realize the Walhalla 2.0 and is looking for more supporters. Interested parties can contact hof@thi.de.
