Tina Volkersdorfer recently submitted her master's thesis "Methodology for Attack Modeling for Security Tests" at INSicherheit. The work was carried out within the framework of the research project MASSiF (Model-Based Security and Safety for Environment–Based Vehicle Functions). The developed methodology for attacker modelling should make it possible in automotive software projects in the future to use the security considerations that have been made in the planning of the software for automated testing of the software. Ms. Volkersdorfer's work lays an important foundation for artificial intelligence-based, fully automated security testing. The master's thesis can be downloaded here: Download PDF
